California-based GMG Janitorial provides detailed cleaning with its trademark excellent customer service. The company services the San Jose, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Orange County areas. GMG Janitorial offers its clients many types of cleaning, including trash chute cleaning.
The proper cleaning of a trash chute involves a great deal of attention to detail. There are a number of particular safety hazards and concerns to be aware of. When starting, one should take note of the starting positions of all the trash bins. Then, the bins should be moved, and rooms swept, especially around chute exits and entries. Any grime and build-up is then scraped from the bottom of the chute. A foam cleaning solution is then applied to the inside of the chute, which sits for 15 minutes. A spinner, lowered from the roof vent, is used to thoroughly clean all debris. Trash rooms are power-washed with hot water, at which point odor-killing fogs reduce residual odors. At this point, the chute doors can be replaced. Finally, the doors must be detail cleaned, both inside and out.
